2008 FALL LEAGUE ROOKIES BASEBALL EXPERIENCE will be conducting for the twelfth year, a six week instructional league for those interested in continuing playing and learning the game of baseball. With plenty of warm weather remaining, we feel there is a great opportunity to continue learning and practising the fundamentals that make us better ball players. Learn form professional instructors who all have playing experience. The Fall League concentrates on positional play followed with instructional games. Skills covered: Positional play Hitting Run downs Pitching Cut offs / Relays Base Running Ground balls Catching Fly balls All athletes will be placed in the age category they will be playing in the following season. Mosquito Pee Wee Bantam 9-10yrs 11-12yrs 13-14yrs All athletes will receive 6 hours of instruction and 2 games per week on the following days: Mosquito - Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday Pee Wee - Thursday, Saturday, Sunday Bantam - Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday Cost:$195 + GST per athlete plus $70 refundable uniform deposit Registration and uniform distribution will take place at Rookies from Aug. 20 - Aug. 31 Time:League runs for six weeks from September 2 to October 12. Location:All weekday sessions are located at Riel Park and Koskie Field. All weekend session are located at Winakwa C.C. and Provencher Park.
