Beginning in early September, student/athletes will compete in the Bantam Fall Instructional Program where they will receive 24 hours of outdoor instruction and compete as a program in 12 games, as well as travelling to Fargo, ND to play against the High School Program.  The Prep program will compete on bases that are 90’ and a pitching distance of 60' 6".  The intent is to mirror top US programs that strive to teach proper baseball fundamentals.  The program will then move indoors where athletes will continue to work in Manitoba’s only indoor baseball teaching facility an additional two times per week, in preparation for a week long trip during Spring Break to Tulsa Oklahoma.  During the Southern trip, practice sessions and games against local area Prep and High School teams will be set up and competition in a tournament, all designed to aid our student/athletes preparation for their upcoming season.

Rookies prides itself on providing the best baseball instruction that this province has to offer.  This coaching staff is put together with one intention:  To provide the best possible staff where knowledge is gained by playing experience.  Each coach will provide value in positions where they have in depth playing experience.
